Wanderlust Wine was grown to explore and discover sustainable, quality wine made by smaller producers and bring them to the tables of wine lovers, like you. Wanderlust is a word meaning “a strong desire to travel and explore”; there are always new wines, new regions, and new styles to dive into, to taste and to share – and we are delighted to introduce you to them.

We source directly from winemakers, 100% of the time. That means no middlemen – and we don’t demand big discounts on price. Our brilliant porducers get a fair price for their hard work and commitment, and you get brilliant, tried-and-tasted wine at a fair price. Cheers to that.

There is nothing like hearing the story behind a beautiful bottle of wine, straight from the source. We love connecting our drinkers to our winemakers so that you can hear the stories, ambitions and adventures behind the wines that you will discover and love. We invite the winemakers over to the UK multiple times a year so you can meet them in person and raise a glass together at one of our tastings.
Better for the planet
We represent a selection of artisanal producers, exclusive to us, from all over the world. These producers are passionate about what they do and all share a commitment to sustainability.
From growing the grapes to fermenting the juice and bottling their finished wines, they produce in a way that keeps the vineyards naturally healthy and productive over time, for many great vintages to come.
As a result, all the wines we source and sell are organically farmed, organic or biodynamic certified. Delicious wine that does good for the earth somehow tastes even better.

The wine world is jam-packed full of jargon that can often cloud our vision when picking the perfect bottle. Where it all began
Say hello to Richard, our founder. After 10 years in corporate banking and a career as a chef with a degree in Food & Wine Technology, Richard enrolled himself into wine school. Initially meant as an extension of interest and hobby to widen his wine knowledge, he progressed through the levels and ultimately discovered how special the wine industry really is – the people, the passion and the dynamics.
A month later, the concept of Wanderlust Wine was born – to import wines that you couldn’t buy in the UK from small producers that Richard had discovered on his travels. With a business plan in hand and some blossoming relationships with a few golden producers, Richard got to work with sourcing a warehouse and talking to sommeliers about the concept.
Some years on, Wanderlust Wine is proud to still be a small team brimming with passion, working with an exciting portfolio of small producers making characterful, sustainable wine worth going the extra mile for.
